AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING .APPRAISALS OF PROPERTIES
NSEDED FOR HINEMM PARK WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLL
ROCK; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SAID ACQUISITION,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to acquire
additional lands adjacent to the property owned by the City
of Little Rock well known as Hkndman Park for the purpose
of expanding and developing the park facilities; and
WHEREAS, the additional property desired by the City
of Little Rock has been identified and appraised and the
City of Little Rock desires to acquire said lands at a price
not to exceed the appraised value thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate necessary funds
for said acquisition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The appraisals of the respective parcels
of land to be acquired for use as a part of Hindman Park
in the City of Little Rock are accepted as herein set forth
and identified. The tract of land on which the appraisals
are herewith approved arm identified by parcel numbers.
The full legal description and apparent owner of the said
tracts together with appraisals thereon are now, and shall
remain, on file in the office of the Real Estate Department
of the City of Little Rock. The parcel numbers and appraisals
of the respective tracts are as follows:

SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to negaliate for the purchase of the respective
tracts of land above identified at a price not to exceed the
appraisal value thereof as described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Capital Improvement Construction Fund the stun of $50,785.00
to Project 76 (Hindman Park), which funds are to be expended
from said project account in acquisition of lands pursuant
to the authority granted in this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
