ORDINANCE NO. 119737
ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND
CLOSING THE STREET IN BLOCKS 99 AND 126, OF JOHN
BARROW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK-
ANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 6th day of April, 1966, asking the
Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the street in Blocks 99 and
126, John Barrow Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the
plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book 1, Page 55, in the
office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
any public easements in said streets; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all per-
sons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the street,
hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a
street, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public gener-
ally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the street to be vacated
have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandon-
ment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by
the abandonment of such streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public gen-
erally, in and to the streets designated as follows:
That Portion of Boyd Street abutting on Lots 9 and 10, Block 99
of John Barrow Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
Lots 3 and 4. Block 126 of John Barrow Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.

subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and re-
corded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
