AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING, TERMINATING
AND CANCELING THE DEDICATION FOR
MUNICIPAL PARK PURPOSES OF CERTAIN
LANDS LOCATED WITHIN LOT NO. 38, CEDAR
HILL TERRACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Anne Sharpe Holmann conveyed certain
lands to the City of Little Rock by Warranty Deed dated
July 6, 1956, of record in Pulaski County Deed Record
Book 609 at page 355 to be used for municipal park purposes,
the same to revert to the Grantor, her heirs and assigns,
when no longer so used, which Deed was accepted for such
purposes by Ordinance No. 10,231 of the City of Little Rock
dated July 23, 1956, said lands comprising a 50 -foot wide
strip of land adjoining the eastern border of Allsopp Park,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point 325 feet South of the
center of Section 32, Township 2 North,
Range 12 West, the same being a point at
which the South side of "K" Street inter-
sects with the North - South center line of
Section 32, the same being 25 feet South
and 23 feet West of an iron pin marking the
Southwest corner of Block 4 of Hillcrest
Park Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Plat Book 1, page 125, then East 50 feet
along the South side of "K" Street, then
South to Cedar Hill Road, then Southwest
along the North side of Cedar Hill Road
to the North -South center line of Section
32, then North along said line to the point
of beginning; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Urban Re-
newal Plan of the West Rock Urban Renewal Project of the
Little Rock Housing Authority, a portion of said lands
went into and became a part of a single family dwelling
lot, being Lot No. 38, Cedar Hill Terrace Addition to the
City of Little Rock; and

WHEREAS, under the authority of Resolution
No. 2,812 dated March 5, 1962, of the City of Little
Rock, a Quitclaim Deed was executed on March 9, 19622
by the City of Little Rock to the Little Rock Housing
Authority, which Deed is filed of record in Pulaski
County Deed Book 790 at page 129; and
WHEREAS, the title examining attorney for the
purchaser of said Lot 38, Cedar Hill Terrace Addition to
the City of Little Rock has required an ordinance to be
enacted by the City of Little Rock abandoning, terminating
and canceling the dedication to the City for municipal
park purposes contained in said Warranty Deed by Anne
Sharpe Holmann to the City of Little Rock dated July 6,
1956, in addition to said Quitclaim Deed by the City of
Little Rock, so that there be no question as to the can -
celation of the dedication of said lands for municipal
park purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
That the dedication of that portion of the lands
described in a Warranty Deed dated July 6, 1956, from Anne
Sharpe Holmann to the City of Little Rock, which lands are
described above, located within Lot 38, Cedar Hill Terrace
Addition to the City of Little Rock, for municipal park
purposes be and the same is hereby abandoned, terminated
and canceled.
