AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE STREET
RIGHT -OF -WAY FUND THE SUA OF $429,694.00
TO BE USED IN PAYMENT TO THE LITTLE ROCK
HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR ALL RIGHT-OF-WAY
NEEDED FOR THE EAST -WEST EXPRESSWAY AND
SITUATED IN UNIVERSITY PARK PROJECT OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR O'T'HER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
Street Right-of-Way Fund the sum of Four Hundred Twenty -Nine
Thousand, Six Hundred Ninety -Four and No /100 Dollars ($429,694.00)
to be used in full payment to the Little Rock Housing Authority
for all future right -of -way needed and planned in the East -West
Expressway for the portion of said Expressway situated within the
University Park Project of the City of Little Rock. This appro-
priation together with other funds has heretofore, on March 7, 1966
by Ordinance No. 11,714, been appropriated to the Street Right -of-
way Fund and reserved for the purpose herein provided. This is
not a duplicate appropriation but is simply in fulfillment of the
policy of the Board of Directors as provided for in said
Ordinance No. 11,714.
SECTION 2. Upon conveyance by the Little Rock Housing
Authority to the City of Little Rock of the said Right-of-Way as
provided for in Section 1 hereof, the City Manager and Director of
Finance are authorized and directed to issue the warrant of the
City of Little Rock for the amount of the appropriation herein
provided for and payable to the Housing Authority of the City of
Little Rock.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
