ORDINANCE NO. 11,899
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
CERTAIN ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on April 26, 1967, praying that
the Board of Directors vacate, abandon and close certain alleys, which
are described below; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard
all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the alleys which are described below have been dedicated to the
public use as alleys in the manner herein described; have not been
actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five
years subsequent to the filing of the plat; and that public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such
alleys.
NOW, therefore, be it ordained by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the following described alleys:
Alley "A"
A part of the NEB, NW4, Section 17, T -1 -N, R -12 -W,
more particularly described as follows: Commencing
at the SE Corner of said NE� NW1 ru4 thejace N 8
00' W along the east line off' said NE', NW4, 547.21;
thence S 820 00' W, 50.0' to the point of beginning;
thence S 820 00' W 750.01; thence S 80 19' E, 16.0'
to the NW Corner of Block 8, Dickinson Mill Addition
to the City of Little Rock; thence N 820 00' E along
the north line of said Block 8, 750.0' to the NE Corner
of said Block 8; thence N 80 00' W, 16.0' to the
point of beginning.
Alley "B"
A part of the NEI, NW-1, Section 17, T -1 -N, R -12 -W,
more particularly described as follows: Commencing
at the SE Corner of the said NE4, NWJ, run thence N
80 00' W along the east line of said NEt. NWu, 361.21;
thence S 820 00' W, 50.0' to the point of beginning;
thence S 820 00' W, 750.0' to the east right -of -way
line of South Pine Street; thence N 80 19' W along the
east right -of -way of South Pine Street 20.0' to the SW
Corner of Block 8, Dickinson Mill Addition to the City
of Little Rock; thence N 820 00' E along the south
line of said Block 8, 750.0' to the SW Corner of said
Block 8; thence S 80 00' E, 20.0' to the point of
beginning.

SECTION 2. A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the deed records of Pulaski County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be enforced
from and after its passage.
