AN ORDINANCE CONDEiN1NING CERTAIN PARCELS
OF PEAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULA.SKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS TO BE USED FOR THE PUR-
POSE OF PROVIDING RIGHT -OF -WAY FOR A
RAILROAD TO SERVE THE PORT OF LITTLE
ROCK SITUATED ON THE ARF;ANSAS RIVER;
DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTI-
TUTE CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST
SAID PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARI;,MAaS.
'ECTION 1. The following described parcels of
real propertv..Isituated in Pulaski County, Arkansas are hereby
condemned for the purpose of providing right -of -way for a
railroad to serve the Port of Arkansas situated on the
Arkansas River and the City Attorney is hereby ordered and
directed to file in the proper courts condemnation proceedings
against the following described parcels of real property
situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
(1) Lot 15, Block H, Factoria Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said property
appears to be owned by Jerrell Eddy and his
wife Louise.
(2) Lot 18, Block H, Factoria Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said property
appears to be owned by Arthur Brasfield and
his wife.
(3) Lot 20, Block H. Factoria Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said property
appears to be owned by Oscar Thomas and his
wife Bessie.
(4) Lot 21, Block H, Factoria Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said property
appears to be owned by Earvin Wyllia and his
wife.
(5) Lot 22, Block H, Factoria Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas. Said property
appears to be owned by Carroll Wilson and
his wife.

the NE- S 4j 3ection 16, and the 3W4, NA,
3ection 15, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, of the 5th Principal
Meridian, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the NEk,
3E4, Section 16, T -1 -N, R -11 -W; thence NC1 03015611
E 68.15 feet to the point of beginning, said
point being on the West line of said SE4, NE4,

15, T -1 -N, k -11 -W, of the 5th Principal Meridian,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the NE4j SE4,

238.91 feet to the point of beginning; thence N

feet; thence N 30 °0615011 E 327.91 feet to a point on

E 371.64 feet along said centerline of Fourche Creek;

along said centerline of Fourche Creek; thence S

containing 3.03 acres, more or less.
The properties hereinabove described are necessary
for the purpose providing right -of -way for a railroad to be
constructed and maintained to serve the Port of Little Rock
to be situated on the Arkansas Diver.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized
to secure an Order of the Court allowing the City to take
immediate possession of the properties hereinabove described
upon the posting of a bond in an amount to be determined by
the Court. The City Attorney is authorized to have posted
on behalf of the City a bond in an amount to be determined
by the Court pending final determination of the condemnation
proceedings.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passa0e.
