ORDINANCE NO. 119863
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LEASEHOLD INTERESTS
OWNED BY THE BREEDING INSULATION COMPANY,
INC. IN THE FRACTIONAL NORTH HALF OF FRACT-
IONAL BLOCK 1853, CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK-
ANSAS APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $92000.00
FROM THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE IN THE GENERAL
FUND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to purchase all interests of the Breeding In-
sulation Company, Inc. to improvements situated upon certain
real property the fee simple title to which is vested in the
City of Little Rock and situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more.particularly described as follows:
That portion of the Fractional North Half
(Frl. N2) of Fractional Block 185, City of
Little Rock, bounded as follows:
On the East by a line 140 feet West of and
parallel with the East property line of Block
185 on Broadway Street; on the West by the West
property line of Block 185 on Arch Street; on
the South by a line 140 feet North of and
parallel with the South,property line of Block
185 on Garland Avenue, formerly Water Street;
on the North by that portion of the river front
now occupied by the track of the St. Louis, Iron
Mountain & Southern Railway Company.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of
Nine Thousand Dollars ($92000.00) from the unexpended balance
in the General Fund for the year 1967 to be used for the purpose
of acquiring the outstanding interest of the Breeding Insulation
Company, Inc. set forth in Section 1 hereof. Said consideration is
to be paid to Breeding Insulation Company, Inc. upon receipt from
said Grantor of an instrument of conveyance to be approved by
the City Attorney conveying to the City all the Grantor's rights,

title and all interest in and to real property herein
described and on improvements situated thereon.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full foree
and effect from and after its passage.
