ORDINANCE NO. 11,857
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$28,690.00 FROM THE 1965 CAPITAL IM-
PROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND TO PURCHASE
CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND FOR WEST 12TH
STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY PURPOSES; APPROVING
THE APPRAISAL OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND
NEEDED FOR RIGHT -OF -WAY PURPOSES ON 12TH
STREET AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE THEREOF;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to acquire certain parcels of land within the
contemplated widening of West 12th Street as hereinafter
set forth and identified by number. Each parcel shall be
acquired for the purchase price hereinafter set forth opposite
the parcel number which price represents the approved
appraisal of said parcel. The full legal description of
each parcel and the approved appraisal thereof are now
and shall hereinafter remain on file in the office of the
Real Estate Department of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The parcels which the City Manager is
hereby authorized to acquire and the approved appraisal and
purchase price thereof are as follows:

SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized to pay by warrant of the
City the approved purchase price for the respective parcels
to the person or persons entitled thereto according to the
opinion of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal title
to the parcels in the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum
of $28,690.00 from the 1965 Capital Improvement Construction
Fund to Project C65- S -56 -C2 (West 12th Street) to be used
for the purposes set forth in the above sections.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
