AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $253,000.00
FROM THE 1965 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION
FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CERTAIN ENGINEERING
AND APPRAISAL FEES AND EXPENSES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to pay fees
for engineering and appraisal work performed in connection
with the prosecution of several projects undertaken by the
City under the 1965 Capital Improvement Bond Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
1965 Capital Improvement Construction Fund the sum of
$25,000.00 to be used from time to time in the payment of
proper charges in engineering and appraisal fees and expenses
in carrying out projects planned under the 1965 Capital
Improvement Bond Program.
SECTION 2. When and as approved estimates and
charges are made and submitted by the persons performing
engineering work and providing and furnishing appraisals
required and requested and /or approved by the Board of
Directors under the 1965 Capital Improvement Bond Program
the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized
and directed to pay said charges and estimates from the
sum appropriated in Section 1 hereof and to issue the
necessary warrant or warrants.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
