WAY PUR�?OSES AT THE INTERSECTION OF
MARKHAM AND UNIVERSITY STREETS; AP'FRO-
MRIATING THE SUM OF $45,600.00 FROM THE
UNAPPROI,RIATED BALANCE OF THE STREET FUND
TO THE "MARICiAM AND UNIVERSITY PROJECT";
2ROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN
PARCELS OF LAND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to acquire certain parcels of land within the contem-
plated widening of the intersection of University Avenue and
Markham Street as hereinafter set forth and identified by number.
Each parcel shall be acquired for the price hereinafter set forth
opposite the parcel number which price represents the approved
apprasial for said parcel. The full legal description and the
approved apprasial thereof are now and shall hereafter remain
on file in the Office of the Real Estate Department of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The parcels which the City Manager is hereby
authorized to acquire and the approved apprasial and purchase
price thereof is as follows:

SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized to pay by warrant of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, the above purchase prices for the respective parcels
of land to the person or persons entitled thereto according to
the opinion of the City .Attorney so as to vest full legal title
to the said parcels to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 4. There is.hereby appropriated the sum of Forty
Five Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($45,600.001 from the unappro-
priated balance in the Street Fund of the 1967 Budget for the
City of Little Rock to the University- Markham Street Project

herein identified and for the prices set forth in the above
Sections hereof.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
