AN ORDINANCE .APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$3,700.00 FROM THE 1965 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BOND FUNDS TO PROJECT 65 -P -89 (DUNBAR
RECREATION CENTER) TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE
OF MAKING CERTAIN STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
BETWEEN CHESTER AND RINGO STREETS= AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, MKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of
$30700.00 from the 1965 Capital Improvement Bond Funds to
Project 65 -P -89 (Dunbar Recreation Center) to be used for the
purpose of making certain storm drainage improvements on the
playground area situated in what was the right -of -way of 18th
Street between Chester and Ringo Streets heretofore abandoned
and now devoted to playground and recreation purposes.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to make the necessary change- orders in the contract
heretofore let between the City of Little Rock and P.B. Price
Construction Company for the widening, paving and improving of
Chester Street which change- orders shall provide for the storm
drainage improvements herein referred to in keeping with plans
and specifications prepared by Garver and Garver, Inc. Engineers
for the City, and unit price bids submitted by P.B. Price
Construction Company as provided for in the Contract between the
City of Little Rock and P.B, Price Construction Company authorized
by Ordinance No. 11,771 by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas. The City Manager is authorized and directed
to pay for said storm drainage improvements in keeping with
provisions and by authority of Ordinance No. 11,771.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
