AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPRAISALS
OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND FOR RIGHT-
OF-WAY PURPOSES FOR 65TH STREET PROJECT
AND WEST MARK4AM STREET PROJECT; APPROPRIATING
THE SUM OF $4,500.00 FROM THE 1965 IMPROVE-
MENT CONSTRUCTION FUND - STREETS; PROVIDING
FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID PARCELS OF LAND; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to acquire certain parcels of land within the proposed
right -of -way for 65th Street reconstruction - Project 58 and
West Markham Street Project 55, as hereinafter set forth and
identified by number. The full legal description and the
approved appraisal hereinafter set forth shall now and here-
after remain on file in the office of the Real Estate Department
of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The parcels which the City Manager is here-
by authorized to acquire and the approved appraisals and purchase
prices together with the identified project are set forth as
follows:

SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Improvement Construction Fund - Streets to Project C65- S -58 -3
Sixty Fifth (65th) Street, the sum of Four Thousand and No /100
Dollars ($4,000.00) to be used together with the sum of Thirty
Five Thousand and No /100 Dollars ($35,000.00) heretofore
appropriated by Ordinance No. 11,893 for the purpose of pur-
chasing Parcel No. C65- S -58 -3 identified in Section 2 hereof,

SECTION 4. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Improvement Construction Fund - Streets to West Markham Street -
Project #55 the sum of Five Hundred and Noj100 Dollars ($500000)
to be used for the purpose of purchasing parcel No. 44 identified
in Section 3 hereof.
SECTION 5. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to pay by warrant or warrants
of the City of Little Rock the appraisal and purchase prices
for the respective parcels of lands all as identified in Section
2 hereof to the person or persons entitled thereto according to
the opinion of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal title
to said parcels in the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
