AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER PIPE LINE IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 131 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two - thirds
or more in assessed value of real property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purposes
hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard
all the parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained
that said petition was signed by two - thirds or more in assess-
ed value of the owners of real property within said territory,
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of
Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of the SE-14 NW4 and that part of the NE4 NW4
lying South of Arkansas State Highway No. 365,
Section 24, T -1 -N, R -12 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said SE4 NW4,
Section 24; thence East 690 feet to a point; thence
North 330 feet to a point; thence East 228.5 feet
to a point; thence North 220 feet to a point; thence
East 415 feet to a point on the east line of said
SE4 NW4, Section 24; thence North along said east
line of the SE4 NW4, Section 24, and continue North
along the east line of said NE-4- NW4, Section 24, to
its intersection with the south right of way line
of the Arkansas State Highway No. 365; thence North-
westerly along said south right of way line to its
intersection with the west line of said NE4 NW4,
Section 24; thence South along said west line of
the NE4 NW4, Section 24, and continue South along
the west line of said SE4 NW4, Section 24, to the
point of beginning;

for the purposes of constructing within the district a water
pipe line distribution system to serve the inhabitants of
said district and constructing a water pipe line beyond the
boundaries of the district, if necessary, to make the desired
connection with the water distribution system of Little Rock,
Arkansas; said purposes to be accomplished in the manner and
of the materials that the commissioners of the district shall
deem to be in the best interests of the district, and the cost
thereof to be assessed upon the real property above described
according to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Water Pipe Line Improve-
ment District No.
131
of Little Rock, Arkansas,"
and
Frank King,
Jr.
Fred Bledsoe,
Jr. ,
and Worthie Springer,
Sr. who are owners
of real
property in said district, are hereby named commissioners and
shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
