AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS OF A TRACT OF LAND IN SECTION 1,
TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 13 WEST, IN
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on January 16, 1968, upon the Petition of
G. 0. Harper and C. A. Barnett, the sole owners of the
lands to be annexed, after due notice of hearing on said
Petition for the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
ordering the annexation of the following described lands
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of NE'k NEk, Section 1, T -1 -S, R -13 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the North
line of Baseline Road which is N 890 54' W
275 feet of the West line of Geyer Springs
Road; thence South 00 02' E 53 feet to the
South line of Baseline Road; thence continue
South 00 02' E 167 feet; thence N 890 54' W
165 feet; thence North 00 02' W 167 feet to
the South line of Baseline Road; thence
continue N 00 02' W 53 feet to the North
line of Baseline Road, and the present city
limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence S 890 54' E on the city limit line
along said right -of -way line 165 feet to the
point of beginning.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed
since the entry of said Order by the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has
instituted any proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, or elsewhere, to prevent such annexation,
and no protestants have appeared and no notice given to the
authorities of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any
attempt to vacate, review, set aside or appeal from said
Order of the County Court; and

WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous
to and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
acting by and through this
approve the annexation of,
a part of the incorporated
Arkansas, all of the lands
said lands be and are here]
Fourth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is
Board of Directors, does hereby
and does hereby accept and make
area of the City of Little Rock,
described hereinabove; and that
)y assigned and attached to the
further ordered that when two
copies of the entire proceedings in the Pulaski County Court
concerning this annexation have been prepared and duly filed
by the Pulaski County Clerk, one copy of said proceedings
shall be delivered to and filed with the Secretary of State
of the State of Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas Statutes (1947)
Section 19 -305.
