AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS VACATING,
CLOSING AND ABONDONING A PORTION OF ABELES STREET
LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 1 AND 2, WEILTS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, under authority vested in it by Arkansas Statutes, purposes
to close, vacate and abandon that portion of Abeles Street lying
between Blocks 1 and 2, Weilts Addition to the City of Little
Rock, north of the north lines extended of Lot 6, Block 1 and
Lot 13, Block 2 of said addition as shown on the plat thereof,
now appearing of record in Pulaski County, Arkansas Record
Book 1 , at Page 201 , subject, however, to any public
utility easements located in said street; and
WHEREAS, after due notice, the Board of Directors has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons
desiring to be heard on the question, and has ascertained that
the said street hereinabove described has heretofore been dedi-
cated to the public use as a street but is no longer required for
said purpose and that the public interest and welfare will not be
adversely affected by the closing and abandoning of the said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby releases,
vacates, closes and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally in and to the street designated as
follows: That portion of Abeles Street lying between Blocks 1
and 2, Weilts Addition to the .City of Little Rock, north of the
north lines extended of Lot 6, Block 1 and Lot 13, Block 2 of said
addition, now appearing of record in Pulaski Qounty Record Book
1 , at Page 201 , subject, however, to any public

utility easements located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records
of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
