ORDINANCE. OF THE BOARD. OF DIRECTORS. OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE
ENTIRK EAST -WEST ALLEY 16 FEET IN WIDTH LOCATED IN
BLOCK. 3, W. B. WO.RTHEN'S. ADDITION TO THE CITY.OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City. of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 16th
day. of January 1968, asking the Board of Directors to.
vacate. and Abandon the entire East -West alley 16 feet In
width located in Block.3, W. B. Worthen's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addi-
tion now appearing of record in Deed Book .AB , page .e ` 210 ,
in the office of the' : .Recorder of Pulaski.County, Arkansas,.
subject, howe.ver,,to any public easements-in said alley; and
WHEREAS, said City has the authority pursuant to Ark. Stat.
19 -2304 to pass an ordinance.vacating said alley; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law,: the Board
of Directors has at the time and place mentioned in the
noti.ce,' heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question
and has ascertained that he alley, more parti=cularly described
hereinbelow, is not .necessary or required for public use or
purposes; public interest or welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of same; and that in order. to -further
pi:6vide for the .public we=lfare, safety,: comfort and convenience,
it is in the best interests of the City of Little Rock to. vacate
said alley.
NOW,. THEREF=ORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE: .BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY. OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION-1. The City of Little'Rock, Arkansas,' hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley .
designated as follows*:
All that certain alley 16 .feet in width :running
east and west thr=ough the middle of B1ock.3;;W.
B. Wor.then's Addition to the .City of Little Rock,.
Arkansas,
subject, however., to any publ.ic.utility: easements located in
said alley.
