AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING PORTIONS OF THREE
STREETS AND ALLEYS DESCRIBED AS:
That portion of East 26th Street, that portion of
East 27th Street and that portion of the three alleys
in the following tract of land in the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas: A parcel of land
situated in Section 17, Township 1 North, Range 11
West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and more particularly described - as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South right -of -way line of
East Roosevelt Road, said point being 380.0 feet
South and 378.19 feet West of the Northeast corner of
the NW 1 /4,NW 1/4, Section 17, Township 1 North,
Range 11 West and being a point on the East line and
15 feet South of the Northeast corner of former
Block 31 of Factoria Third Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, as formerly platted; thence
South 0° 14' West 530.40 feet to a point; thence
South 57° 32' West 240.00 feet to a point; thence
South 0° 14' West 151.57 feet to a point; thence
North 890 18' West 124.79 feet to a point; thence
North 00 14' East 813.07 feet to a point, said point
being on the South right -of -way line of East Roosevelt
Road; thence South 890 18' East along said South
right -of -way line of East Roosevelt Road 326.78 feet
to the point of beginning, and containing 5.1 acres
more or less.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 1st
day of November , 1967 asking the Board to vacate and
abandon the above described portion of two streets and
portion of three alleys as designated on the former plat of
Factoria Third Addition to the City of Little Rock now appear-
ing of record in Plat Book 1, page 248, in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the

notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question
and has found and ascertained that the portions of the streets
and portions of the alleys hereinafter and above described,
has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as portions of
streets and alleys herein described; have not been actually
used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5)
years subsequent to the filing cf the plat; that all of the
owners of the property abutting upon the portions of the streets
and alleys to be vacated have filed with the Board their written
consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and wel-
fare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such
portions of the streets and alleys.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the portions of
streets and portions of alleys designated as follows:

27th Street and the portion of three alleys in the

North 0° 14' East 813.07 feet to a point, said point
being on the South right -of -way line of East
Roosevelt Road; thence South 89° 18' East along
said South right -of -way line of East Roosevelt Road
326.78 feet to the point of beginning, and con-
taining 5.1 acres more or less.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
