AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $502000.00 FROM
THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR
THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CERTAIN ENGINEERING
AND APPRAISAL EXPENSES; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
WHEREAS, additional engineering and appraisal work for
numerous projects undertaken pursuant to the 1965 Capital Bonds
Program has commenced under and pursuant to contracts executed
by the City of Little Rock and Garver & Garver, Inc. and various
real estate appraisers; and
WHEREAS, the expenses necessarily incurred for said
engineering and appraisal work are due or are becoming due and
funds should be made available for the payment of said expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Improvement Construction Fund the sum of Fifty Thousand and N0 1100
Dollars ($50,000.00) to be used from time to time in the payment
of proper charges for additional engineering and appraisal work
under and pursuant to the 1965 Improvement Construction Program.
SECTION 2. When estimates and charges made by the persons
performing engineering and appraisal work under the 1965 Improve-
ment Construction Program are approved, the City Manager and
Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to pay such
estimates and charges from the sum appropriated in Section 1 hereof
by issuing the necessary warrant or warrants.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
