AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK
ON WEST 12TH STREET AT THE INTERSECTION OF
UNIVERSITY AVENUE; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$309834.05 FROM THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCT-
ION FUND TO PROJECT 65 -S -56 (12TH STREET); AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to issue change orders for construction work in the
widening, paving and improving of West 12th Street at the inter-
section of University Avenue and thus authorize Ben M. Hogan Company,
Inc., contractor for said project, to make the necessary improve-
ments provided for by said change orders not to exceed the sum of
Thirty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Four and 05/100 Dollars
($30,834.05).
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Improvement Construction Fund to Project 65 -S -56 (12th Street)
the sum of Thirty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Four and 05/100
Dollars ($30,838.05) to be used in payment of the cost of work
provided for by change orders hereinabove authorized. The City
Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed
to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the cost
of said work in keeping with and pursuant to authority of the
original contract heretofore provided for in the widening and
paving of West 12th Street from University Avenue east, which
contract is with Ben M. Hogan Company, Inc.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
