AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN
LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE
13 [JEST, SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST,
SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 12 WEST, AND
SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 13 WEST, IN PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on July 19, 1967, upon the Petition of Southdale
Corporation and other owners constituting a majority of the real
estate owners of the lands to be annexed after due notice of hearing
on said Petition for the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
ordering the annexation of the following described lands located
in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
Part of Section 36, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Part of Section 31,
T -1 -N, R -12 -T, Part of Section 6, T -1 -S, R -12 -W and
Part of Section 1, T -1 -S, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as follows: Beginning at a point 30 feet North
and 30 feet East of the SW corner of said Section 31,
thence South 30 feet East of and parallel to the Range
Line between said Ranges 12 and 13 a distance of 1107.8
feet, more or less, to a point on the North line of the
S2 NA of said Section 6, thence North 890 29' East
2267.1 feet along the North line of said S2 NW-4 Section 6
to a point 25 feet West of the NE corner of said S2 NW-4,
thence South 00 37' Test abng the West Right -of -Way line
of Loetscher Lane 1139.7 feet, thence South 890 52' West
265.5 feet, thence South 00 37' West 190 feet to a point
on the South line of said S2 NWk, which point is 290.5
feet West of the SE corner of said S2 NW-4, thence South
890 52' West 1163 feet along the South line of S2 NW4 to
a point 854.12 feet East of the SW corner of said S2 NW4,
thence North 1020 feet, thence South 890 52' West 884.12
feet to a point on the West Right- of -Way line of Geyer
Springs Road, which point is 30 feet West of the Range
Line between Ranges 12 and 13, thence North 30 feet West
of and parallel to said Range Line 1407.8 feet, more or
less, to a point 30 feet West and 30 feet North of the SE
corner of said Section 36, thence East 60 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 49.5 acres, more or less.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any

proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
or elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants
have appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review, set
aside or appeal from said Order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
by and through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the
incorporated area ofthe City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of
the lands described hereinabove; and that said lands be and are
hereby assigned and attached to the Fourth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that when two copies of
the entire proceedings in the Pulaski County Court concerning
this annexation have been prepared and duly filed by the Pulaski
County Clerk, onecopy of said proceedings shall be delivered
to and filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Arkansas,
pursuant to Arkansas Statutes (1947) Section 19 -305.
