ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
HARLAN STREET IN HOPSON AND SACHS SUBURBAN TRACTS
PLOT NO. 1 IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
T911EREAS a petit ±.on was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock; Arkansas on the 10th day of July
, 1967, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon
Harlan Street in Hopson and Sachs Suburban Tract Plot No. 1 in
the City of Little Rock; as designated on plat of said tracts now
appearing of record in Plat Book 2, Page 181 in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the street hereinbefore described has heretofore
been dedicated to the public use as a street as herein described;
has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of
five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of
the onwers of the property abutting upon this street to be vacated
have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to
such abandonment; and that the public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to the street designated as
follows:
A portion of the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4, Section 11,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, being a street
forty feet (40') wide and 1,293.37 feet long
abutted by tracts 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17,

North of the SE corner of Tract 15 Hopson and Sachs
Suburban Tract Plot No. 1, thence West 1293.37,
thence North 40', thence East 1293.37, thence South
40' to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
