AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$7,849.63 FROM THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUC-
TION FUND - PARKS TO BE USED IN DEFRAYING IN
THE COST OF RE- SURFACING CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN
MUNICIPAL PARKS; SPECIFICALLY REPEALING SECTION 5
OF RESOLUTION NO. 3794 ADOPTED JULY 3, 1967; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. It is specifically understood and provided
that a portion of the street re- surfacing materials purchased
under the provisions of Resolution No. 3794 adopted July 3, 1967
are for application in Gum Springs Park, Granite Heights Park,
Butler Park and the Little Rock Municipal Zoo area providing
areas for public parking and driveways therein. The cost of
such materials and labor performed and utilized in Gum Springs
Park and Granite Heights Park shall be paid for from appropria-
tions heretofore made to projects numbering P78 and P80 respectively.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the
1965 Improvement Construction Fund the sins of Six Thousand
Seven Hundred Eighty and 37/100 Dollars ($6,780.37) to Project Ei
Municipal Zoo Improvements and the sum of One Thousand Sixty -Nine
and 26/100 Dollars ($1,069.26) to Project 79 - Butler Park to
be used respectively for payment of the cost of materials and
labor in the re- surfacing within the respective areas.
SECTION 3. Section 5 of Resolution No. 3794 adopted
July 30 1967 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
