AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
CERTAIN ROADWAY SITUATED IN LOT 6, RIGGS
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF A SUBSTITUTED
EASEMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, has determined that the public street easement described
in Section 1 hereof, dedicated to the City by the Westgate Corporation
has never been used or devoted nor is it necessary for public street
or roadway purposes and desires to vacate and abandon all its right,
title and interest together with that of the public generally in and
to said easement pursuant to the power granted cities of the first
class by Arkansas Stat. 19 -2304; and,
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of accepting a dedication from
Thompson, Inc. for a public street easement of a strip of land in
Lot 6, Riggs Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1. City of Little Rock hereby vacates and abandons all
its right, title and interest together with that of the public generally,
in and to the following described property dedicated to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, as a public street easement by Westgate Cor-
poration, to -wit:
A 30 foot wide roadway easement over Lot 6,
Riggs Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line
of Lot 6, Riggs Addition, 125 feet South
of the Northeast corner of said Lot 6,
thence West along a line parallel to the
North line of said Lot 6 for 100 feet; thence
North along a line parallel to the East line
of said Lot 6 for 125 feet to a point on the
North line of said Lot 6; thence West, along
the said North line of Lot 6, for 277.8
feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 6;
thence South, along the West line of said
Lot 6, for 30 feet; thence East, along a
line 30 feet South of and parallel to the
North line of said Lot 6, for 247.8 feet;
thence South, along a line 130 feet West of
and parallel to the East line of said Lot 6,
for 125 feet; thence East, along a line
155 feet South of and parallel to the North
line of said Lot 6, for 130 feet to a point
on the East line of said Lot 6; thence North
30 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby accepts from
Thompson, Inc. the dedication of a roadway easement in Lot 6, Riggs
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
A roadway easement over Lot 6, Riggs Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said
Lot 6, RIGGS ADDITION to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, which is 125 feet South of the
Northeast corner thereof, thence run West parallel
to the North line of said Lot 6 for 100 feet;
thence run North parallel to and 100 feet from
the East line of said Lot 6 for 224 feet to a
point which is 1 foot South of and 100 feet West
of the Northeast corner of said Lot 6; thence
run West along a line which is 1 foot South of
and parallel to the North line of said Lot 6 for
190 feet; thence run North 1 foot to the North line
of said Lot 6; thence run West along the North
line of said Lot 6 for 87.8 feet to the Northwest
corner of said Lot 6; thence run South along the
west line of said Lot 6 for 31 feet; thence run East
parallel to the North line of said Lot 6 for 247.8 feet;
thence South along a line 130 feet West of and parallel
to East line of said Lot 6 for 124 feet; thence East
along a line 155 feet South of and parallel to the
North line of said Lot 6 for 130 feet to a point
on the East line of said Lot 6; thence run North
30 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
