AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CON-
STRUCTION OF THE LITTLE ROCK PORT SEWER
SYSTEM; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE PORT
CONSTRUCTION FUND; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and
bids received pursuant thereto according to law for the con-
struction of the Little Rock Port Sewer System; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder
has been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the execution of a contract for the construction to
be done by the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid
on contract for the construction of the Little Rock Port Sewer
System is hereby accepted and contract awarded as follows:
ITEM SUCCESSFUL BIDDER PURCHASE PRICE
Construction of the McDonald & Associates $517,634.25
Little Rock Port Sewer St. Paul, Minnesota
System
This contract is awarded contingent on approval by the Arkansas
Water Pollution Control Commission and the Federal Water Pollution
Control Administration, same being agencies granting funds for the
construction of said project.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the
Port Construction Fund, said fund being made up of monies received
from bond issues and grants from the federal government, the sum
of Five Hundred Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Four Dollars
and twenty -five cents ($517,634.25) to be used in payment of the
contract price.
SECTION 3. Payment to McDonald & Associates is hereby
authorized in conformance with the contract; said contract
complying in all respects with the bidding specifications and
bid proposal.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
