AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 12,169
AS AMENDED, SAME BEING THE ORDINANCE
APPROVING THE 1969 BUDGET FOR THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; APPROPRIATING
THE SUM OF $172,288 FROM THE UNEXPENDED
BALANCE IN THE GENERAL FUND TO BE USED
FOR VARIOUS BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS; APPRO-
PRIATING THE SUM OF $14,700 FROM THE
UNEXPENDED BALANCE IN THE STREET FUND
TO BE USED FOR VARIOUS BUDGET ADJUST-
MENTS; MAKING TRANSFERS AND ADJUSTMENTS
FROM SURPLUS ACCOUNTS TO DEFICIT
ACCOUNTS THEREIN SET FORTH; APPROVING
A FIVE PERCENT SALARY INCREASE FOR ALL
NONUNIFORMED EMPLOYEES; INCREASING
POLICEMEN'S SALARIES $50 PER MONTH;
APPROVING ANNUAL SALARY LEVELS FOR
VARIOUS EMPLOYEES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION I. There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance in the general fund the sum of $172,288 to be applied to
line budget accounts as follows:

SECTION VI. The sections of the Ordinance No. 12,169 as
amended and all line items provided for in the Budget set forth in
said Ordinance affected by the appropriations, adjustments, and
transfers provided for herein are, and same shall be increased or
decreased based on whether by this Ordinance a sum was transferred
to an account or from an account. The Director of Finance and the
City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to extend the total
of said Ordinance as amended in keeping with the provisions of this
Ordinance.
SECTION VII. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
