AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
THIRTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY -
EIGHT DOLLARS ($13,398.00) FROM THE UN-
EXPENDED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND
FOR REPAIR AND REMODELING OF THE ADULT
CENTER FOR MACARTHUR PARK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the sum of Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred
Ninety -eight Dollars ($13,398.00) was received by the City of
Little Rock for damage done to the Adult Center at MacArthur
Park and said sum being deposited to the City of Little Rock
General Fund; and
WHEREAS, a contract has been awarded to George A.
Purifoy Company to repair and remodel said Adult Center for a
total cost of $14,692.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the un-
expended balance of the General Fund the sum of $13,398.00 to be
paid to George A. Purif oy Company upon compliance with the con-
tract awarded June 2, 1969 to repair and remodel the Adult Center
at MacArthur Park.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
