12237y v ORDINANCE NO. 12,23' ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THAT PART OF DENISON STREET LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 30 AND 31 OF CAPITOL HILL EXTENSION ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKo ARKANSAS WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the day of May, 1969, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all that part of Denison Street lying between Blocks 30 and 31 of Capitol Hill Extension Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the Plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book AB, at Page 195, of the office of the Recorder in Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said street; and WHEIMS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascer- tained that the street hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; that public interest and welfare will nctbe adversely affected by the abandonment of such street; NOW, THER.EFCRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the street designated as follows: That part of Denison Street lying between Blocks 30 and 31, Capitol Hill Extension Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. -t subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street. SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. SECTION 3.
