AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,000.00 FROM
THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND
FOR STREETS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING
RIGHT -OF -WAY TAKEN DURING THE WIDENING OF
12th STREET, SETTLING A DAMAGE CLAIM
ARISING OUT OF SAID TAKING, AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Improvement Construction Fund for Streets the sum of $1,000.00
to be used to purchase right -of -way taken during the widening
of 12th Street. The property being described as follows:
A part of Lot 7, Block 3, Capitol Hill Extention
Addition to the City of Little Rock, being a strip
of land on the south side of said lot 150 feet in
length and 3.17 feet in width, in Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Said funds to compensate Lillian Pim for any damages to
her property arising out of said taking.
SECTION 2. Upon receipt of a quit -claim deed from the
owner to the above described property and a release by Mrs. Pim
of any damages which may have arisen out of said taking, the
City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to
issue the warrant to compensate Mrs. Pim.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passing.
