AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$5,000.00 FROM THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF
THE GENERAL FUND TO BE USED BY THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK TO DEFRAY INITIAL COSTS
INCURRED IN PROCEEDING WITH THE MODEL
CITIES PROGRAM AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $5,000.00 from
the unexpended balance of the General Fund to be used by the
City of Little Rock to defray the initial costs incurred in
proceeding with the Model Cities Program.
SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized and
directed to establish the necessary budget account or accounts
for these funds.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to disburse the funds hereby
appropriated as needed.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
