AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$100,000.00 FROM THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF
THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT
OF THE LITTLE ROCK TOLL AUTHORITY IN DEFRAY-
ING THE EXPENSE OF PROVIDING FEASIBILITY AND
TRAFFIC STUDY FOR THE EAST —WEST TOLLWAY;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
unexpended balance of the General Fund the sum of One Hundred
Thousand and N01100 Dollars ($100,00000) to be used as needed
for the benefit of the Little Rock Toll Authority to defray
the expense of providing feasibility and traffic study for the
East -West Tollway.
SECTION 2. Upon a proper showing by the Little Rock
Toll Authority of the need for any portion of this money, the
City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to
issue the necessary warrant or warrants to the Toll Authority.
SECTION 3. This commitment is made with the full
understanding that the amount, if any, advanced by the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, will be repaid to the City from bond
funds received if such becomes feasible.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
