ORDINANCE NO. 12,142
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT ON ELECTRICAL
WIRING AND LIGHTING OF BALL FIELDS AT WEST END
PARK AND KANIS PARK; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$36,762.20 FROM THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUC-
TION FUND; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertized and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for electrical wiring
and lighting of the ball fields at West End Park and Kanis Park;
and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids have
been determined, and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
authorize a contract to have the work done by the lowest responsi-
ble and responsive bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR S
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
the electrical wiring and lighting of the ball fields at West End
Park and Kanis Park are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as
follows:

SECTION 2. The sum of Thirty -six Thousand Seven Hundred
Sixty -two and 20/100 Dollars ($36,762.20) is hereby appropriated
from the 1965 Improvement Construction Fund to be used in payment
of the aforementioned contracts.
SECTION 3, Upon completion of the electrical wiring and
lighting complying in all, respects with bidding specifications and
bid proposal, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
