AN ORDINANCE AWARDING CONTRACTS ON BIDS ON
WASHED SAND AND PEA GRAVEL FOR HINDMAN PARK
GOLF COURSE; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
$36,384.88 FROM THE 1965 IMPROVEMENT CON-
STRUCTION FUND; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law on washed sand and pea
gravel for use at the Hindman Park Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders
have been determined, and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize contracts to purchase washed sand and pea
gravel from the lowest responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids
on washed sand and pea gravel for Hindman Park Golf Course are
hereby accepted and contracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 2. The sum of Thirty Six Thousand Three Hundred
Eighty -four and 88/100 Dollars ($36,384.88) is hereby appropriated
from the 1965 Improvement Construction Fund to be used for the pur-
chase of the aforementioned items.
SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the aforementioned items
complying in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid
proposal, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants
in payment of said contracts.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
