AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN
LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH,
RANGE 13 WEST, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING A
PORTION OF STURBRIDGE SUBDIVISION, PHASE III
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on August 20, 1968, upon the Petition of
Rector - Phillips- Morse, Inc., and others, being a majority of
the owners of all the property affected, and owning well over
one -half of same, after due notice of hearing on said Petition
for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, ordering the
annexation to the City of Little Rock of the following described
lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
Part of the NWk NEk, Part of the SWk NEk and part
of the NWk SEk, All in Section 34, T -2 -N, R-13-W,
Pulaski Country, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows: Beginning at the SE Corner SWk NEk,
Section 34, T -2 -N, R -]3 W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
Thence South 0° 14' East, 179.73 feet; Thence South
81° 50' West, 261.55 feet; Thence North 130 11' West,
361.22 feet; Thence North 0° 14' West, 583.79 feet;
Thence South 890 46' West, 80.0 feet; Thence North
140 47' West, 256.55 feet; Thence North 260 12' West,
278.65 feet; Thence North 50 37' West, 266.70 feet;
Thence North 9° 30' East, 622.40 feet; Thence North
29° 00' West, 186.99 feet; Thence N 13° 00' West,
205.83 feet; Thence North 0° 17' West, 200.00 feet
to the North line of the NW's NEk; Thence South 890
03' East along said north line 664.05 feet to the
NE corner NWk NEk said Section 34; Thence South 00
21' East along the East line of the NWk NEk of said
Section 34, 1329.44 feet; Thence South 00 02' East,
along the East line of the SWk NEk of said Section 34,
1319.38 feet; to the point of beginning and containing
32.709 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since
the entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted

any proceeding in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
or elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants
have appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review,
set aside or appeal from the said Order of the County Court;
and
WHEREAS, said above described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the
incorporated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of
the lands described hereinabove in this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. It is further ordered that said lands be, and
they are hereby, assigned and attached to and made a part of
the Fifth Ward of said City of Little Rock.
