AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ESTABLISHING AND PROVIDING FOR A MUNICIPAL
PARK AND RECREATIONAL AREA FOR THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
BRING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST SAID
PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION to The fallowing described parcel of real prop-
erty situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, is hereby condemned for
the purpose of constructing a park and recreational area for the
City of Little Rocky Arkansas and the City Attorney is hereby ordered
and directed to file in the proper Courts a condemnation proceeding
against the following described parcel of real property situated in
Pulaski County, Arkansas.,
Beginning at a point on the North right-of-way line
of the C.R.I &P RR right -of -way where it intersects
with the East line of the SE 1/4, Section 16, T ®l -N,
R-12-W, Pulaski County, Ark.; thence North along the
East line of the said SE 1/4 for 171.01 to a point on
the South right-of-way line of Park Drive; thence 5610
15' W along the said right-of-way line of Park Drive
for 20,5; thence N 80030' W along the said right -of-
way line of Park Drive for 10901'; thence N 34000'W
along the said right-of-way line of Park Drive for
232.4'. Thence N00030'E along the said right-of-way
line of Park Drive for 102.4'; thence Northwesterly
along the right -of -way line of Park Drive along the
arc of a curve to the right having a chord of 40.0'
on a bearing of N29030'W; thence N00030'E for 244.3'
to a point on the South line of South Side Addition
to Little Rock, Arkansas extended East; thence N8058'
W along the South line of said South Side Addition and
said line extended for 893 <2'; thence 500037'W for 13501
to a point on the North right-of-way line of the C.R.I &P
RR; thence 563059'E along said right-of-way line for
1002.0'; thence 565041'E along said right -of -way line for
97.1'; thence 569047'E along said right-of-way line for
95.0'; thence 575054'E along said right-of-way line for
93.6'; thence 582050'E along said right-of-way line for
93.38; thence 5890258E along said right-of-way line for
6403' to the point of beginning containing 8.3 acres
more or less.
This property appears to be owned by High Point Inc.
The property hereinabove described is necessary for the
purpose of establishing, improving and creating a park and recreational

area for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to
secure an Order of the Court allowing the City to take immediate
possession of the properties hereinabove described upon the posting
of a bond in an amount to be determined by the Court pending final
determination of the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con-
flirt herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
