AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 718 WEST MARKHAM
STREET; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $66,675.00
FROM THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE`OF THE GENERAL
FUND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to proceed
with the acquisition from Mr. G. A. Denham the following parcel of
property to be used as an addition for office spac& by the City and to
pay the sum of $66,675.00 for said purchase to the person or persons
entitled thereto according to the opinion of the City Attorney so as
to vest full legal title to the City of Little Rock,, Arkansas:
The East 26 feet of Lot 8 and the West 12 feet of
Lot 9, Block 136, original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance in the General Fund the sum of $66,675.00 to provide the
purchase price for the property set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
