AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PROCEED WITH A "PENSION AND INSURANCE
SURVEY "; TO EMPLOY A CONSULTANT TO MAKE
SAID SURVEY; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT NOT TO
EXCEED ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($11,000.00);
APPROPRIATING MONIES FROM THE UNEXPENDED
BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to proceed with a "Pension and Insurance Survey" and to employ the
necessary consultant or consultants to assist in said survey.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment
of services rendered by the consultant or consultants in making the
pension and insurance survey, but in no case shall the total payment
exceed the sum of $11,000.00.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from the unexpended
balance of the General Fund the sum of $11,000.00 to be used as directed
in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
