AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A BEQUEST OF $10,000.00
FROM THE ESTATE OF JOHN D. WALTHOUR, DECEASED,
AND APPROPRIATING SAME FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT
THE LITTLE ROCK CITY ZOO; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Mr. John D. Walthour did, during his lifetime, express
extreme interest and pride in the Little Rock City Zoo; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Walthour did manifest this interest and pride by
leaving to the City a bequest of $10,000.00 to be used for improve-
ments at the Little Rock City Zoo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock graciously accepts a bequest
of $10,000.00 from the Estate of John D. Walthour, Deceased, and does
hereby appropriate said sum for the purpose of making improvements at
the Little Rock City Zoo.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
