AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
has hereby determined that a majority of the real estate owners of a tract of
land contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, duly petitioned
the County Court of Pdaski County, Arkansas, that their property be annexed to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, after publication of notice of the hearing on said petition
and other formalities required by the Statutes of Arkansas a hearing was held
and the County Court of Pulaski County made a finding that all requirements for
annexation had been met, and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of March, 1970, the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas entered an order annexing to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
the lands described in this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, that no proceedings was instituted in the Circuit Court
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to prevent the annexation within thirty days from
the date of the order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION X. That from and after the passage and approval of this
ordinance that the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to the Statutes of
the Stated Arkansas, does hereby accept the said annexation and the following
described lands are hereby annexed to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to wit:
The South Half (S2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE-41) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4),
Section 20, Township f--North, Range 12 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas.

SECTON 2. The above described lands annexed and accepted by this
ordinance shall be, and become a part of the fourth ward of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after is passage.
