AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND
FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,400.00) FROM THE 1965 IMPROVE-
MENT CONSTRUCTION FUND TO PAY FOR A PARCEL OF LAND
OWNED BY WESTGATE APARTMENTS, INC. AND CONDEMNED FOR
65TH STREET BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965 Improve-
ment Construction Fund the sum of $3,400.00 to pay for property condemned
by the City of Little Rock and belonging to Westgate Apartments, Inc.,
more particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land situated in Leigh - Butler Acres, City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particu-
larly described as follows:
Part of the Tracts 16 and 23, Leigh- Butler Acres,
beginning at the northeast corner of Tract 16; thence
South 1043'37" East 18.09 feet; thence North 89025'39"
West, 521.12 feet; thence North 38056157" East, 17.32
feet; thence South 89051'56" East, 510.38 feet to the
point of beginning; containing 9,131 square feet, more
or less.
SECTION 2. In accordance with the judgment of Pulaski County
Circuit Court, the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized
and directed to pay to Westgate Apartments, Inc. the said $3,400.00.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
