AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 3 -2, 3 -6 AND 3 -7
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, SAID SECTIONS DEALING WITH THE
LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Section 3 -2 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
The commissioners shall be appointed by the City
Manager and confirmed by a three - fourths vote of
the Board of Directors, and shall hold office for
a term of five years, said terms beginning on
January 1, and ending on December 31, of the 5th
year thereafter.
Section 3 -6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
The commissioners shall keep a record of all
revenues and expenditures of the Airport, its
related properties and facilities, and shall sub-
mit monthly reports to the Mayor and City Board
of Directors. It shall be the duty of the Little
Rock Airport Commissioners to cause an annual
audit of the financial affairs of the Airport to
be conducted by certified public accountants.
The accountants will prepare an annual audit
report showing receipts and disbursements in all
the airport funds, the status of the airport's
bonded debt, and any other detail necessary to
present the complete financial condition of the
Airport. Said audit report shall be filed by the
Airport Commission with the City Clerk of the City
of Little Rock not later than 60 days following
close of the previous calendar year. The
commissioners shall furnish such other reports,
data, and information as may be requested by the
City Manager, Mayor, or the City Board of Directors.
Section 3 -7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
The Airport Commissioners shall submit to the City
annually, not later than October 15 each year, its
budget for the following year, which budget will
show its estimated revenue, expenditures, and fund
balances for the following year.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
