ORDINANCE NO. 12,510
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $42,342.90 FROM
THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF THE STREET FUND;
AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR SLURRY SEAL COATING
AND STREET RESURFACING, PURCHASE OF MOTOR-
CYCLE HELMETS, AND A VAN FOR USE BY THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
slurry seal coating and street resurfacing for the City of
Little Rock and motorcycle helmets and a van to be placed on
a City owned vehicle; and
WHEREAS, lowest responsible and responsive bidders have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the purchase of these items from the lowest
responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION to There is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the Street Fund the sum of $42,342.90 for slurry seal
coating and street resurfacing.
SECTION 2. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
contracts for the purchase of slurry seal coating and street
resurfacing are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 3, Upon delivery of the aforementioned items,
complying in all respects with the bidding specifications and
bid proposal, the City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
