AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION OF DEVELOPMENT PLANS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES, 12,481 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 43 -1 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock is amended to add: (19a) Development Plan. A dimensioned presentation of the proposed development of a specified parcel of land which reflects thereon the location of buildings, easements, parking arrangement, public access and street pattern and other similar features. SECTION 2. Section 43 -24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby changed to read as follows: Development Plans - In order to safeguard the public interest in the development of land by assuring that adequate consideration is given such elements as public access, fire, police, and sanitation services, utility and other easements, screening, parking, yard space and such other elements of similar nature, and to provide that the appropriate use of property adjacent to the area included in said plan is properly safeguarded, and to provide that said plan is consistent with the intent and purpose of this chapter to promote public health, safety, morals and general welfare, proposals for more than one building on a lot (as defined in Section 43 -1 -8) shall be submitted as a Develop- ment Plan to the Little Rock Planning Commission Staff for approval. All proposals not appropriately zoned, nor properly subdivided, or for which waivers other than for more than one building on a lot are requested, shall be returned to the applicant for application to the appropriate Board or Commission. Appeal from requirements of the Staff shall be to the Board of Adjustment of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. ccc- 14 G, - a t A" -2- SECTION 3.
