ORDINANCE N0. 12,477
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $50,000.00 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
BALANCE OF THE STREET FUND TO BE USED FOR PURCHASE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM THE LITTLE ROCK HOUSING AUTHORITY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $50,000.00 from the unappropriated
balance of the Street Fund to be used by the City of Little Rock for the purchase
from the Little Rock Housing Authority of certain property, more particularly
described as Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 99, and Lot 12, Block 100, Original City of
Little Rock.,
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to disburse for the above purposes such of the funds herein appropriated
as may be necessary in keeping with the City`s contract of purchase, to consumate
this transaction. Funds appropriated and expended pursuant to the appropriation by
this Ordinance shall be refunded to the "Street Fund Account" of the City of Little
Rock from the proceeds of the sale of $2,000,000.00 Parking Authority Revenue Bonds,
authorized by the Board of Directors pursuant to Resolution No. 4,553 of the Board
of Directors dated April 19, 1971.
SECTION 3, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
