12476ORDINANCE NO. 12,476 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 39 -50 AND 39 -51 PERTAINING TO PARADES, FUNERALS AND OTHER PROCESSIONS ALONG THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. Section 39 -50 and 39 -51 pertaining to parades, funerals and other processions along and in the public streets of the City of Little Rock are hereby amended to read as set forth in the following: "Section 39 -50 FUNERAL OR OTHER PROCESSION IN DRIVING THROUGH. No vehicle shall proceed in a funeral procession except with the headlights of said vehicle burning which for the purpose of this Ordinance designates such as a funeral vehicle. Section 39 -51 PERMIT. No parade containing pedestrians, animals or five or more vehicles, except the Armed Forces of the United States or this State and funeral processions, should march or proceed along any street except in accor- dance with a permit issued by the Director of Traffic of the City of Little Rock. Provided further, no funeral procession shall proceed along any street except after having given notice of such to the Director of Traffic of the City of Little Rock, which notice may be given by telephone com- munication."
