12470ORDINANCE NO. 12,470 AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, TO BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A STORM SEWER AND DRAINAGE FACILITY FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE MODEL CITIES AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO BRING CONDEMNATION PRO- CEEDINGS AGAINST SAID PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The following described parcels of real property are hereby condemned for the purpose of establishing and providing an easement for a storm sewer and drainage facility in connection with the Model Cities First Year Drainage Improvement Project in Sub - Projects 3 & 4, and the City Attorney is hereby ordered and directed to file in the proper court a condemnation proceeding against the said parcel of real property: A 10' temporary easement described as the south 10' of the north 20' of Lot 8, Block 2, Oak Glen Addition, City of Little Rock (1920 Vance); administratively referred to as Parcel No. 1. A permanent easement described as the north 10' of Lot 8, Block 2, Oak Glen Addition, City of Little Rock (1920 Vance). The above property is apparently owned by Dr. Jerry D. Jewell and wife, Oneta. A 10' temporary easement described as the South 10' of the north 20' of Lot 28, Block 2, Oak Glen Addition, City of Little Rock; administratively referred to as Parcel No. 4. The City Attorney is further authorized to secure an Order of the Court allowing the City to take immedi- ate possession of the properties herein above described upon the posting of a bond in an amount to be determined by the Court. The City Attorney is authorized to have posted on behalf of the City a bond in an amount to be determined by the Court pending final determination of the condemnation proceedings. SECTION 3.
