ORDINANCE NO. 12,468
AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING CERTAIN PARCELS
OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, TO BE USED FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A STORM SEWER
AND DRAINAGE FACILITY FOR THE USE AND
BENEFIT OF THE MODEL CITIES AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; DIRECTING THE
CITY ATTORNEY TO BRING CONDEMNATION PRO-
CEEDINGS AGAINST SAID PARCELS OF REAL
PROPERTY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described parcels of real property
are hereby condemned for the purpose of establishing and providing
an easement for a storm sewer and drainage facility in connection
with the Model Cities East End Drainage Project Phase I, Sub - project
No. Two, and the City Attorney is hereby ordered and directed to
file in the proper court a condemnation proceeding against the said
parcel of real property:
Permanent Easement: A strip of land 23 feet wide across
Lots 3, 4, and 5, Block 2, Industrial Park Addition, City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, said easement to accommodate a
box culvert crossing Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation's
pipelines at present ditch location; administratively referred
to as Parcel No. 25.
Temporary Easement: The remaining East portion of Lots 3, 4,
and 5, Block 2, Industrial Park Addition, City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, and the remaining portion lying West of the 23 ft.
wide permanent easement; administratively referred to as Parcel
No. 26.
Temporary Easement: The East 25 feet of Lot 5, Block 49,
Industrial Park Addition, City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
administratively referred to as Parcel No. 48.
Temporary Easement: The remainder of Lot 4 west of the East
15 feet of said lot, Block 49, Industrial Park Addition,
including the right to fill; administratively referred to as
Parcel No. 48B.
Permanent Easement: The east 15 feet of Lot 4, Block 49,
Industrial Park Addition.
Temporary Easement: The West 40 feet of Lot 20, Industrial
Park Addition, City of Little Rock; administratively referred
to as Parcel No. 61A.
Temporary Easement: The 25 feet adjacent to and east of the
west 15 feet of Lot 21, Block 49, Industrial Park Addition;
administratively referred to as Parcel No. 61B.
Permanent Easement: The west 15 feet of Lot 21, Block 49,
Industrial Park Addition, City of Little Rock.

Temporary Easement: A reserved tract in Weils Addition, City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, described in Deed Book 446, page 307,
Pulaski County Circuit Clerk; administratively referred to as
Parcel No. 82C.
Permanent Easement: A parcel in the southeast corner of a
reserved tract in Weils Addition, as described in Deed Book
446, page 307, Pulaski County Circuit Clerk, said parcel
being thirty (30) feet north and south by fifteen (15) feet
east and west, City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
The apparent owner of the above described property is Texas
Eastern Transmission Corporation.
Temporary Easement: 15 feet adjacent to and west of the
permanent easement of Lot 7 and the north 15 feet of Lot
6, Block 5, Harringtons Second Industrial Addition, City of
Little Rock; administratively referred to as Parcel No. 7.
Permanent Easement: The East 10 feet of Lot 7 and the north
15 feet of Lot 6, Block 5, Harringtons Second Industrial
Addition, City of Little Rock.
The apparent owner of the above described property is M. W.
Kaye, an undivided one -half interest and Marlene Kaye, an un-
divided one -half interest.
Temporary Easement: The 15 feet adjacent to and west of the
permanent easement, Lot 1, Block 6, Harringtons Second In-
dustrial Addition, City of Litter Rock, Arkansas, administra-
tively referred to as Parcel No. 9.
Permanent Easement: The west 10 feet of Lot 1, Block 6,
Harringtons Second Industrial Addition, City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
The apparent owner of the above described property is M. W.
Kaye, an undivided one -half interest and Manie Schuman; Jerald M.
Schuman; and Rebecca J. Kaye, an undivided one -half interest.
The property hereinabove described is necessary for public use
for the purpose of establishing and providing a storm sewer and
drainage facility.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is further authorized to procure
an order of the Court allowing the City of Little Rock to take im-
mediate possession of the properties hereinabove described upon the
posting of a bond in an amount to be determined by the Court pending
final determination of the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
