AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF SECRETARY
TO THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS; APPROPRIATING
SUM OF $5,668.00 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE
OF THE GENERAL FUND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby created the position of
secretary to the Mayor and the Board of Directors which
position shall be non Civil Service. The person filling
this position shall serve at the will of the Board of
Directors.
SECTION 2. Further, there is hereby appropriated the
sum of $5,668.00 to defray the Salary and related expenses
for the remainder of the year 1971 for the position created
in Section 1 hereof. Until further changed by the Order of
the Board of Directors the monthly salary for such secretary
shall not exceed $449.00 per month and shall be in such amount
as may be certified by the Mayor from time to time not in
excess of said maximum.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
