ORDINANCE NO. 12,642
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
VARIOUS ITEMS FOR USE BY THE CITY; APPROPRIATING
FUNDS; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and 'bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of various items
to be used by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
authorize the purchase of these items from the lowest responsible
and responsive bidders.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
contracts for the purchase of various items to be used by the
City are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 2. A contract is hereby awarded to Matson Construction
Company for construction of a building at the land fill site,in keeping
with revised plans and specifications prepared by the City Of Little Rock
and on file in the Department of Public Works, at a cost not to exceed
$ 10,26800
SECTION 3. The sum of $6,409.60 is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the Street Fund to defray the expense of
certain equipment to be used by the Public Works Department.
SECTION 4. Upon delivery of the above mentioned items and con-
struction of the land fill building, complying in all respects with
bidding specifications, the City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of same.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
