AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE SUM OF $67,843.06
FROM THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM
COMMISSION; APPROPRIATING SAID SUM TO THE
LITTLE ROCK ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION COMMISSION;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Municipal Auditorium Commission has
heretofore been abolished and the duties and responsibilities
therefor transferred to and assumed by the Little Rock Advertising
and Promotion Commission; and
WHEREAS, the said Auditorium Commission in keeping with the
transfer of its duties, authority and responsibility has delivered
to the City of Little Rock the sum of $67,8.43.06 to be managed and
controlled as directed by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to appropriate
and deliver the monies herein identified to the Little Rock Advertising
and Promotion Commission to be managed and expended by said Commission
in the operation, management, control and development of the Little
Rock Municipal Auditorium.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $67,843.06 is hereby accepted, receipt
of which is acknowledged, from the Little Rock Municipal Auditorium
Commission and said sum is appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the General Fund with directions that said amount be
transferred to the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission
and there used at the direction of the said Commission in the
operation, management, development and maintenance of the Little
Rock Municipal Auditorium.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
