AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 12,568,
SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING
A PORTION OF VALLEY CIRCLE STREET AS SHOWN ON
THE PLAT OF HOCOTT'S PARK MANOR, A SUBDIVISION
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock by
Ordinance No. 12,568, enacted November 14, 1971, closed and vacated
a portion of Valley Circle Street, as shown on the plat of Hocott's
Park Manor, a subdivision in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas the
specific description of which being set forth by metes and bounds
in said Ordinance No. 12,568; and
WHEREAS, the said Ordinance No. 12,568 inadvertently neglected
to reflect a finding by the Board of Directors that the portion of
the street being abandoned and vacated had not been used by the public
for five years last past before the filing of the Petition to vacate
and abandon said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 12,568, of the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, enacted November 14, 1971, is here-
by amended to reflect a finding by the Board of Directors that said
street had not been used by the public for five years last past
before the filing of the Petition to vacate and abandon a portion
of Valley Circle Street as shown on the plat of Hocott's Park Manor
and as described in said Ordinance except as herein amended Ordinance
No. 12,568 shall remain in full force and effect the same and as
enacted November 14, 1971.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
